Calling all food processors and food business owners! Take our survey & tell us what you value in a commercial kitchen.
We're conducting a food processor market research survey and would greatly appreciate your participation. Your feedback will provide us with invaluable insights that will help inform the future of our space.
The survey is open to anyone who is currently operating or plans to operate a food business on Vancouver Island. It takes 7-10 minutes to complete, and your responses will be kept confidential.
As a token of appreciation for your time, all participants who complete the survey will be entered into a raffle to win a $50 value South Island FarmHub gift basket.

Canada Summer Jobs Positions
Are you looking for a rewarding summer job working in sustainable food systems?
Kitchen Connect and the South Island FarmHub are beginning our search for a few great Canada Summer Jobs employees! Positions include Events and Communications Assistant, FarmHub Production Assistant, and Food Processing Assistant.
The rate starts at $19/hour, and applicants for the Production and Processing Assistant positions may apply for a wage top-up through the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC (IAF) bursary program.
Positions begin in mid-May, and we’re accepting applications through May 5, 2024. As these are Canada Summer Jobs positions, applicants must be between the ages of 18-30 and be a Permanent Resident of Canada or a Canadian Citizen. Positions are dependent on funding from Canada Summer Jobs.

Kitchen Connect Open House April 18th
